Our Mission Partners are not simply projects we support, they are relationships we care for; shaped by prayer, generosity, accountability, and long-term commitment. As a church family, we focus our energy intentionally. Some partnerships are recognised as Primary Mission Partners, where we share deeper connection and regular support. Others are Secondary Partners or Mission Contacts, whom we stand with through prayer, encouragement, and giving.

Together, these relationships express something central to our life as a church; mission is not about doing more, it is about walking faithfully alongside others and trusting God with the outcomes.

The Scottish Network is playing its part in the transformation of Scotland through the good news of Jesus and his kingdom of justice, hope, and restoration.

It is committed to nurturing and establishing churches that flourish—churches shaped by Jesus’ radical hospitality, curious and open to listening, engaging, and serving wider society in his name.

The Scottish Network is also committed to serving existing churches, providing their leaders and teams with places of rest, recovery, encouragement, and equipping.

In addition, it is committed to planting new expressions of church throughout Scotland.

Safe Families and Home for Good hope for a society where no family feels alone, and every child has a home where they can flourish. We believe the Church is central to this vision. We empower families, equip churches, and influence systemic change.

Our Safe Families programme supports isolated, overwhelmed families through local volunteers, helping them build stable homes and strong community connections. And Home for Good ensures that when, sadly, children come into care, there is a home for every child who needs one.

The mission provides spiritual, moral and practical support to those in need, helping them overcome poverty, ignorance and disease while promoting peace, justice, dignity and integrated development in Burundi, Central Africa. It is led by Charles Ndikumana, who studied at International Christian College in Glasgow in 2002. Allan and Marjorie Goldie have visited him regularly, and in 2014 a team from St John’s travelled to Burundi to serve alongside his ministry. Through donations and support, a medical clinic has now been established near Bujumbura.

Cup of Cool Water works holistically to uplift vulnerable communities, offering teaching, evangelism, counselling, advocacy and community development. Its mission combines pastoral and social care with reconciliation and healing, creating opportunities for people to contribute to lasting transformation in Burundi.

Every day, millions of Christians risk their lives to follow Jesus. In more than 70 countries, Open Doors supports them by supplying Bibles, providing emergency relief and helping persecuted believers stand strong for the long-term. In the UK and Ireland, Open Doors helps the church to pray, give and speak out for those who share our faith but not our freedom.

More than 380 million Christians face persecution and discrimination because they love Jesus.

Where faith looks impossible, God is doing the impossible. The church continues to grow. Today, you can hear their stories of faith, join them in prayer and be part of .
