Who we are

We are a church serving Linlithgow and surrounding areas. As followers of Jesus we strive to be more like him, with the help of the Holy Spirit. As such, we are a people called to love and support one another, just as God loves us: freely and unconditionally. Everyone is welcome at St. John’s to worship God and serve one another as we work out our journey of faith together.

We are a church that values, enjoys & cares for our world. We recognise that every person is unique and precious in the sight of God who longs to welcome them back into His family. As part of the worldwide church, we work with others to share the love of Christ, seeking to bring people & God together.

We believe that we should encourage and seek the best for each other, setting aside time for fellowship, fun & celebration.

Our Vision and values

We believe that God’s love can transform lives and communities, and we want to see that happening in the places that we live. We call ourselves disciples because the most important thing in our lives is to love God and learn how to do what Jesus said to do. Although a diverse group of people, we are a family together and want to share our lives generously with each other.

Pursuing God’s Will Together: We believe God builds His church and it is our responsibility to listento his heart for what he wants and be led by that.

Everybody Gets to Play: We believe in the Priesthood of all believers and that everyone, young andold, irrespective of their background is empowered to serve in God’s Kingdom.
