The Giving Week is an opportunity for you to give towards the vision of St John’s. We are very thankful for the extraordinary generosity of Church Members earlier in the year which was set aside for the Low Port Centre, and this Giving Week is to support our day to day spending. This funds our local ministry, staff, and running costs. 

 

The Church is nearly entirely funded by donations from Church Members, and we depend on significant one off giving to support the ongoing ministry. In the budget agreed by the Church Members for 2023, 74% of our donation income is planned to come from regular giving, and the balance is from one off giving. Of this, £25,000 is our target for the Giving Week, to add to one off gifts already given this year. 

 

Alongside this, the Giving Week provides the chance for each of us to reflect on regular giving to the Church and consider starting or increasing this.

Here's how you can give
  • Give a One-Off gift

How To Give:
 

  1. Via Churchsuite (fees apply): 


     

  2. Via your bank online to:

    Please email admin@stjohnslinlithgow.org to let us know your donation is for Giving Week.
     

  3. Via Cash or Cheque: 
    Place donation in a giving envelope and put in the collection box on Sunday morning or post to 183 High Street, Linlithgow, EH49 7EN. Please make cheques payable to St John's Church.

  • Start to give regularly

If you would like to start giving regularly to St John's you can do so in the following ways.
 

  1. Set up a Standing Order via your bank - log in to your online banking or visit your local branch. All you'll need are our bank details shown below.

  2. Set up a regular donation through Churchsuite. (Please note that this method involves an additional fee).

  • Increase Regular Giving

If you would like to increase the amount you currently give to St John's you can do so via your bank, either online or in person.
 

If you currently give regularly through My Churchsuite, login to your account and go to My Giving to manage your donations. Get in touch if you need further assistance with this.​

Gift Aid

Whatever way you give, if you’re a UK tax payer, please make the most of Gift Aid to add 25% to your giving. If you use MyChurchSuite you can complete a Gift Aid Declaration through the My Giving link. Alternatively complete the form in the link below.
