Community Prayer Group

...they should always pray and not give up. Luke 18:1

The community prayer group has continued to meet through the year to pray for the community. We ask the Holy Spirit to guide us and direct our prayers as we intercede for Linlithgow and other communities we are part of. We have been encouraged to be persistent in prayer and trust God to answer in his way and his time. We pray for God's will to be done, for his kingdom to come and for his blessing on our community.

We pray for a wide variety of topics ranging from community events to individuals. God is interested in all aspects of our community and wants to impact every part as we pray. We pray for Christians to be effective as salt and light, demonstrating and sharing Christ's love with those they meet and have contact with. A particular focus this year has been praying for Square Mile and it has been exciting to be involved with this ongoing outreach. The Charity Cafe has been birthed in prayer and it is great to see it up and running and being such a blessing to many.

If there is a particular situation, group of people or individual in the community that God has placed on your heart to pray for and you would like us to pray also, please get in touch with Glen or David.
We meet every Tuesday morning during school term from 9-10am in St Johns@183 High Street. You are welcome to join us if you are free; we believe that prayer changes things.

Because you have prayed to me...Isaiah 37:21
