Who We Are

Welcome to St John's. We are a lively Christian Church based in Linlithgow, Scotland which is made up of people from a variety of backgrounds and all ages. Our vision is to "follow Jesus together" as a community who worship God, build relationships, serve our communities, and make disciples of Jesus Christ.

At present around 250 of us meet each Sunday morning when the focus of our gathering is on inspiring and contemporary worship, the challenging and relevant teachings of Jesus, and the influence of the Holy Spirit @ work among us. We are privileged to have over 100 children and young adults in our fellowship and offer extensive programmes for them during the service - a Creche for under 3 year olds, God's Gang for 4-11 year olds, Y. P. G. for 12-14 year olds, and Youth Fellowship for those 15 and up.

10:30 Service

Our family service is at 10:30am each Sunday in Linlithgow Academy and typically lasts an hour and a half. Everyone of every age is very welcome. We have a hearing loop, a creche, and offer activities for children and young adults who go out to their groups around twenty minutes. After the service we warmly invite you to the School's cafeteria for a cup of coffee and fellowship.

To get to Linlithgow Academy, follow Linlithgow High Street West from the Palace, turning left on to Preston Road, then right on to Braehead Road. The Academy is on your left with plenty of parking across two car parks, and our service is held in the main hall which our greeters at the front door will direct you to. Evening Services

During term time, our evening service with teaching and communion is at 6:30pm at the Church's building on Union Road except for the first Sunday of the Month, and typically lasts an hour and a half.

To get to the church building, follow Linlithgow High Street West from the Palace, turning left on New Well Wynd. The church building is on your left as you reach the end of the street. For a full map and to obtain driving directions from any other location, find Union Road on Google Maps

On the first sunday in each month, our evening service is held at Brae Court at 7pm.
